As a follow up to Princess Diana and her beau Dodi Al Fayeds inquest to the events and cause of their deaths, August 31, 1997, began today in the UK .

If you are one of the beloved fans of the Princess of Wales, and you become overwhelmed by all the long winded reports on her, feel free to check out these follow-up articles. They are short, and to the point, and at least you can keep abreast of what's been going on.

The jury, Lord Justice Baker, (A well respected Judge in England, and Wales) for this inquest, was acting Deputy Coroner of Inner West London.

Attendance:

A heard of barristers, and assistants.

Representatives from the Ritz Hotel in Paris

The Security Services

The Metropolitan Police

And Mohamed Al Fayed, Dodi's Father.

After a deck of cards was shuffled and drawn, one by the one the jurors were sworn in, and took their seats accordingly. According to the BBC, Lord Justice Baker uttered a quote that no doubt will go down in history. "You will be in the public eye as no inquest jury has ever been before."

The first topic on the agenda, which has reportedly been broken down to eleven, was the question of maternity. Was Diana Pregnant?

After hearing from all sides the bottom line goes like this.

There is no proof that she was pregnant, and she wasn't checked for a baby in Paris when she was brought to the hospital on the night she died, because if she was pregnant, no one knew about it, and had no reason to look for a baby. So therefore there is no way to say if she was with-child, in any medical terms, she also was embalmed in France, and after her body left Paris apparently it couldn't be proved either way.

However, testimony will be taken in the future months, by Diana's close friends, and that issue will be discussed. If Diana was pregnant, it's quite possible she told someone.

Why is that an issue?

In a word, Motive.

Allegations that the Royals wouldn't want Diana to have Dodi's baby would be the motive, and if she wasn't pregnant, than that issue no longer will be in question.

However, the jury was told that this is not a trial, it is not for accusing anyone of anything, its an inquest to get to the truth of when, how, where, and why they died.

The Jury will be flown to Paris soon, to walk to Pont de Alma, the tunnel where Diana's tragic accident occurred.

There is a lot of focus else where, on where the so-called pap rats were hanging out, and where the gold member press were, and who.. but that's not going to be covered in these articles, sorry.

Peace and Love

Mwah Darlen's,
