NY Romance thrives in the heart of Manhattan, with a chance meeting on a subway, a lovesick web designer, and all the New Yorkers pitching in support to help him find his dreamgirl.. and he did it!

For a heart to heart story, sometimes they hit the media, and when they do, we read it, awe over how cute, and go on with our day with a smile. Just such a story has emerged in the heart of New York, last week, and I want to share it with you.

On a Sunday evening in Manhatten, November 04th, 007, Patrick Moberg, 21, a New York Webdesigner was traveling on train 05. Patrick knew it was love at first sight when he spotted the rosy-cheeked girl, apparently she was busy writing in a journal, and the train being so crowded made it difficult to keep his eye on her, and when they exited, she was gone. With a little perseverance and good luck, he found her again, within 48 hours. What a great story to start the day with.

How can anyone find the girl of their dreams in NY, with nothing to go on?

Finding anyone in the huge city of New York, when you don’t even know their name sounds impossible, but that didn’t stop Patrick, he decided to sketch a picture of her, with black leggings, blue shorts, dark hair with a flower, and post it online. To take it a step further, he even posted his email address, and cell phone number. Searching for a needle in the haystack, he never dreamed he’d even get a response.

Well, the city of New York are Romantics at heart, and all went straight to work. He had countless emails and txt messages with leads on who she could be, with a few offers telling him how sweet he was, and asking him out for dates. This didn’t deter him from his mission, he saw his dreamgirl and aimed on finding her.

Finally after 48 hours, a message appeared on his website, that read "Found Her! Seriously!"

And that he did. The girl’s best friend txt’d him and told him that she thought she knew his dreamgirl, and then she sent him a picture of the girl. Yup, you guessed it, it was her, Camille Hayton an intern at BlackBook magazine hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Somewhat overwhelmed that he could find a person in New York, let alone the girl of his dreams, Patrick politely requested to message with her, not wanting the circumstances of how he went about meeting her, to scare her.

Patrick told the NY Times that "When I was walking to work today, I suddenly realized, wow, this is insane, New York has a ton of people. I don't know how this worked. It was less than 48 hours. I'm amazed by how quick I got a response."

Hayton is a theater art and photography graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz, and Patrick said she wrote him saying that "she wasn't sure if she would live up to my expectations and I said 'There are no expectations,' " he said.

Patrick reportedly said he is closing the curtains on the rest of their story, he left a message on his cell phone saying there will be no more interviews, (obviously because he found his dream girl.) He decided that it’s time for it to become a private affair, and he doesn’t intend to update the website. "Unlike all the romantic comedies and bad pop songs, you'll have to make up your own ending for this." he said.

A happy change of circumstance for Hayton, as her friends told the NY Times that her home burned down a few weeks ago in NY. The two have been emailing each other, and they are planning to meet this weekend over a cup’o coffee.
