Is it time for a Global UFO Security Team? Governor Fife Symington held a press conference, to discuss just that.

Should we ignore little lights in the sky, or is it prudent that the major aviation countries set aside their differences, when it comes to Global Security?
Do we have anything to worry about when it comes to Extraterrestrials? After watching the movie Signs with Mel Gibson, most would agree that anything’s possible, and not being prepared when pounced upon is probably the greatest weakness to us Globally. What would we do if the skies filled up with cloaked spaceships, and then suddenly whamo, the Aliens are landing.
Sounds like a silly story? Do we have anything to worry about when it comes to Extraterrestrials? (Previous) Arizona Governor Fife Symington rehatched his encounter about the Phoenix Lights Incident back in 1997, during a UFO Encounters Press Conference held in
What if all the signs that indicate we are not alone, by thousands and thousands of people all over the world who have witnessed or encounterer extraterrestrials, for countless years were right. Keep in mind, they put up with being labeled as crazy, highly imaginative, among other things, they really had no reason to make it up, and normally it ended with someone telling them it was a weather balloon, or some logical reason that was in a high tech term that no one could pronounce.
What if after all this time, it all was true?
Yes there is a point to all of these strange questions, and what’s interesting is that globally, countries are starting to draw such conclusions. To say, we habitants of earth, are the only beings existing with intelligent life in this great big universe and beyond, as a fact makes one wonder, is that a fact? Or in retrospect, is that statement a case of simple arrogance (or ignorance) on our part?
Perhaps our human instinct to naturally be afraid of the unknown is evolving as more and more countries become technically advanced, their people's expectations and acceptance of things that would have been unthinkable a hundred years ago is growing to, at a rapid rate. We are getting harder to shock, because history has been rough on us, and we always get through it, but if Aliens landed, not many people would be skeptical. Not many would panic and think they were God's with super power. People are getting themselves mentally and emotionally geared up for the future, and making contact with other beings is always been expected in any picture of human kinds evolution.
More and more countries are starting to report lately that there needs to be an emergency plan in place, just in case there is some sort of unforeseen danger that befalls our planet. Seven countries to start, being pilots and government officials, have met together, and actually discussed their own opinions and experiences with ex-Arizona Governor Perhaps our human instinct to naturally be afraid of the unknown is evolving as more and more countries become technically advanced, their people's expectations and acceptance of things that would have been unthinkable a hundred years ago is growing to, at a rapid rate. * I did a little digging, and have some interesting links at the bottom of this article, if you want to dive into some further research. Blue Book, which was developed in the year 1969, when 12,648 claims of UFO sightings were reported and investigated. Project Blue Book kicked in with the intention of determining if UFO’s would breach National Security, following the first UFO investigations Project Sign, who concluded that UFO’s existed, and the project ended in 1947, and secondly Project Grudge which Project Blue Book concluded was primitive in it’s investigations was taken down, and then in 1957 Project Blue Book was born, being taken down itself in 1969. Jimmy Carter, known as the ‘UFO President’, did not say he saw a UFO, but also details were kept confidential in the protection of National Security.

The Navy has a great Questions and Answers section all about UFO’s, and links to the CIA’s public information.

Maybe we can find the answer to one of the most famous UFO Puzzles, and my favorite space man story of all time, the ‘Roswell Incident’, or otherwise known as area 51, New Mexico in 1947. Maybe if all the answers come out, we will learn enough to protect ourselves globally, if the experts are correct, and Global Security needs to be prepared.
How can we help?
Back in 1999, I had joined the NASA quest to discover Extraterrestrials via your internet connection, which was called SETI@home. It is a screensaver that you install on your computer, and when your computer sits idle it connects with the 1000 ft in diameter, world's largest radio telescope. It is always on, and listening for a sign from space. I joined because it sounded like fun, because if your computer was the one who was first to hear a sound, it was named after you. I've had computers come and go since then, and lost my connection since, but I believe the software is still runing, probably more advanced now. If you are interested in installing the software on your machine, and helping to listen for Alien activity, then you can go to this link below and see it for yourself.

For a backreading on when SETI@home was first introduced, back in 1999, when I joined, I found an archived link on NASA just for you. It goes into great detail about SETI@home, with some interesting facts about how it all works.

Top-level comments on this article: (3 total)Hi, Great artical and good to see your angle on alians or a future alian invasion. I believe there is life beyond our solar system, but don't really think anything is capable of causing any major hysteria like our friends in the movies. I think they have only ever visited us to refuel their ships, and the main feul they are after is water. As we are traveling further into space and we also have the smarts to use water as a feul ( only the governments only want us to use the polluting kind ) , maybe one day we will be the alians refueling out ships on distant solar systems and swapping space stories with our new friends over a coffee.Hello E Tee from Roswell Thanks for reading my article, and wow I loved reading every word. Yes, I agree with you, and I hope that if that ever happens, it's in our lifetime, and not 300 years from now that we will be having a laugh with an Alien, swapping stories over a cup of coffee. I do however, believe in the concept of being cautious, and it's better safe then sorry. Maybe Aliens exist, maybe they don't, but it's good to know that people in authority are starting to take the security issue seriously, in the just in case senerio. With our own families and children's welfare at stake, it's always good to have a plan A, and B, and hopefully they will never be needed. It's not like in history, that we've ever encountered any acts of agression at a staggering rate, from unknowns, but there's always a first time. And we'd sleep better knowing, something would be done about it, just in case. Thanks so much for stopping by. Sacreeta
Sacreeta, here are some additional thoughts for all those who want to "investigate". Are these from space or can they be from inner earth? Ever hear USO's, Unidentified Under Sea Objects? How about this one, can they be something else, perhaps spiritual in human form come to decieve many? Why God when we offer you the truth? Take your pick, one day we will all know. Respectfully, RTM
Nice article. I have seen several videos on UFOs and just recently an interview on NPR with Joe Firmage. Joe founded USWEB and left the company over his UFO beliefs. Here's a multi-millionaire who is no dummy involved in UFOs. I believe in UFOS. My only issue with them is that they don't do anything that we can measure. I am tired of sightings. I want to see some action. Excerpt: "Firmage has published a 600-page manifesto, "The Truth," In one of the chapters titled "My Contact," Firmage recalls an incident one morning in 1997 at his California home, during a "9-minute snooze" after he had spent a long night preparing for USWeb's initial stock offering. "As I snoozed, something amazing happened," Firmage wrote. "A remarkable being, clothed in brilliant white light, appeared hovering over my bed in my room. He had dark hair and a beard, I believe. He looked rather annoyed, and asked 'Why have you called me here?' "I answered without a moment's pause: 'I want to travel in space.' This was always my lifelong dream, and it naturally came out in a state of semi-waking thought. He chuckled skeptically, paused, and asked 'Why should you be granted such an opportunity?' " Firmage continued. "I responded without hesitation, in the only way I could have responded given my life to that time: 'Because I'm willing to die for it!' " Firmage wrote. As opposed to many people who try to benefit financially from their belief in UFOs, Firmage has spent more than $3 million on Project Kairos, his Web site, as well as on ads in Rolling Stone, the Wall Street Journal and other print and online publications to publicize his book. The story above sounds a lot like Moroni's visit to LDS Prophet Joseph Smith and Firmage himself is or was a Mormon.
