Happy Valentines Day, fellow Searchwarper's and readers. I can't wait for the big day, I've been waiting ALL year for my favorite holiday.. and it's nearly here.

 

Valentines Day. Love is in the air, the birds are singing, the sweet smell of roses fill the malls. Ahhhh. And don't you fret none, if you're dateless for Valentines Day, I don't believe it's only for lovers, it's for anyone who loves, and is loved. So don't be alone on Valentines Day, give a rose to your best friend, go out with friends, stay in with a chick flick, wine, chocolate and your other single friends, call up some people to say hi, that you haven't had time to talk with in a while.. or send some e-cards.

I found out something interesting for those of you looking to give Valentine Cards. In doing a short survey, about whether a Valentines Day card to your sweetheart is appropriate in an e-mail, or a store bought Hallmark type.. Hallmark won! 98% of Guys and Gals alike, all agreed that sending a Valentine ecard to your special someone isn't appropriate, it is considered to not have enough forethought, and is the thumbs down, for that one special sentiment.

However. After you've made the effort to go out, and either get the things to make a custom Valentine Card, or buy one, it is ok to send an e-card, html code, ping, txt message, IM, or SMS to the one or ones who are special in your life.

I have some links on here, of some of the best and worst ecard sites, with Valentines for your sweetheart. Deeply Romantic, Funny, Cute Animated, Myspace htmls, pings, and even Virtual kisses and hugs. With a little tidbit on what the sites like.

Before I get started, I am going to tell you upfront, I left out BlueMountain Postcard, Hallmark, (Although hoops & yoyo rule, and would be my number one pic), and the other big market card sites.. Why? Because everyone knows them, and I wanted to give you something to look at, that's different.

Mushygushy. I must say is my number one pick of this list. Cute cards, where you can input a cropped picture of you and or your loved one. They have some really cute designs, if you only have time to check out one on this list, I'd start with this one. A very important tip. If you are going to use your sweethearts headshot in a lovely animated cartoon Valentine ecard, make sure that the picture of your sweetheart is flattering. The image should be on thier good side, and that it wasn't taken on their bad hair day. If you want them to love the ecard, put some effort into it, and make sure you put a really nice pic of them, and of course yourself. If you don't, the entire thing will go flop.

Happybirthdaytoyou. This site's kinda cool. Here you can customize your ecard, and customize the music, they actually can put the name of your sweetheart into the song that is sent to them. Imagine their surprise when they hear their own name sung. You can pick which singer, what beat for the music, it's also for singing Happy Birthday.

Cardfountain. This site isn't free, it has members, but it looks like a lot of fun. You can type the words you want to say in your e-mail, and the words will be read aloud by the character you choose. If you can't think of anything to say, they also have some premade talking e-mails. Very cute.

Gifsboyira. This girl is good. These messages come in a multitude of languages, she has awesome poems, love letters, and some very sexy, hot emails to send to your lover on Valentines Day. Some of the graphics are photoshop quality, they look like a Harlequin Romance Cover, and were done by an amazing artist. Her site is really worth checking out.

Flickr.  This site is a make your own ecard, they use delivr.com, which I believe is the sister site. Anyway, the cool thing about this site are the photos. They are real, and gorges, and there are millions to choose from.

This category is for those Love Me Nots. For those who like the one liners, crude e-cards. Yes, no-doubt the Anti-Valentines Day fanatics out there to ruin it for the rest of us. I got a list for you to.

Funny Junk is a cute little site that's filled with everything on the lighter side. Some of their stuff is a bit crude, but some of it, is kinda cute, and sometimes cheesy.
