Jackie Chan, we all know his amazing martial arts stunts, and perfectly choreographed martial arts movies.

Jackie Chan's most popular American movies Rush Hour, 1, 2, and 3, were his biggest block busters. Watching Rush Hour 3 the other night, was great fun! I can't remember when I laughed soo much, that Chris Rock is a riot, and Jackie's stunts never cease to amaze me.. The Eiffel Tower in Paris Stunts was some pretty scary stuff, Jackie stays true to his martial art stunts in his movies, and knowing the risks he's taking, makes you really sit on the edge of your seat. Oh yeah and Jackie's funny to.
I have a special treat for fans of Jackie Chan, with some tidbits that you may not be aware of, one of them being that he has his own website, with blogs and highlights of his career.

A smart move for a Super Star! If anyone hears incorrect gossip about you, they can check out your site, and get the true story. Matthew McConaughey has a site of his own, that was featured in another article that I wrote, and he was blogging about his new baby who is on the way. He has music featured, and perks about his movies, and it's a lot of fun.

Here's some Interesting Facts about Jackie Chan, that you might not be aware of.

He was born in Chanchung China on April 17th, 1954.

He recently buried his father in Canberra, Australia, Charles Chan beside his late mother Lee-lee Chan, he has been in mourning over the passing of his beloved father since February 28th, 2008. Jackie said he eventually would bring his parents bodies home to China.

Jackie's real name is Chan Kong-sang, which translates into born in Hong Kong.

Jackie's parents Charles and Lee-lee worked for the French Embassy in China, when Jackie was a baby, they were very poor.

Jackie's father Charles taught Jackie Kun Fu when he was a child, to build character in his son.

Jackie's parents moved to Australia when Jackie was seven years old to work at the American Embassy where his father worked as head Chef.

Jackie stayed behind in Hong Kong, and attended a prestigious Opera House school, where he stayed for ten years, until he graduated at the age of 17.

Jackie's school, the China Drama Academy in Hong Kong, taught him acrobatics, singing, acting, and martial arts, but not to read and write. The school was very strict.

Upon graduation, as Chinese Opera became unpopular, Jackie was either qualified as a stunt man, or a labourer.

Jackie at age 17, worked as a stunt man, extra in the Hong Kong film industry, but the industry wasn't very strong, and Jackie moved to Australia with his parents.

That's when Jackie got his name. He took jobs working at a restaurant, and a construction site. The Aussies, who are known for nicknaming, couldn't quite spit out the name Chan Kong-sang. One of the workers he worked with was named Jack, so Jackie was nicknamed little Jack, and eventually it went on to Jackie, and stuck ever since.

Jackie found construction work and restaurant work boring, and wasn't happy in Australia then the wheel of fortune in Jackie's life turned.

Jackie got a message from a man named Willie Chan who became his manager and life long friend.

Willie saw Jackie work as a stuntman and Jackie made such an impression that he wanted Jackie to star in a Lo Wei production.

Lo Wei is a prominent Hong Kong Director/Producer.

That's how Jackie got his first break in the film industry, and the movie Fist of Fury was made.

Jackie was aged 21 when he back to Hong Kong for the film Fist of Fury, and lives there still.
